Windows 10’s built-in Meet Now video calling tool is now widely available.

Meet Now extends to large numbers of users!

Microsoft has begun to distribute a convenient function for users of the Windows 10 operating system, which even at the testing stage, they managed to call the “Zoom killer.”

This is the Meet Now feature. The Meet Now button on the taskbar, and the Start menu makes it quick and easy to start a video call. The function uses Skype, but the video call will be launched through the browser if the application is not installed.

Meet Now became available to end-users for the first time with the KB4580364 planned update released a couple of weeks ago. However, then the launch was minimal.

The feature is now being distributed to a large number of users. It is expected that all users of the latest versions of Windows 10 will soon receive an integrated video conferencing solution at the system level.
