This time, the information was shared by the Chinese resource cnBeta with reference to local sources. According to the resource, the iPad of the ninth generation will be quite similar to the iPad of the eighth generation, but it will receive a number of small but important changes.
The screen will increase slightly – from 10.2 inches to 10.5 inches. The newer SoC A13 Bionic will become the hardware platform, the amount of RAM will grow from 3 GB to 4 GB. Plus, the tablet will become thinner and lighter. The device will retain the “proprietary” features – the Touch ID fingerprint scanner in the home button, the home button itself and the Lightning port. The price will also remain the same.
