The first images of the new Apple Watch have surfaced

In general, the Apple Watch design has not changed all the time of its existence: yes, the dimensions have changed slightly, the displays have grown, but these are the same rounded rectangular “bars” with a wheel on the side. And now, Apple has filed a new patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office called “Display Modules and System Applications.”

In this document, the company describes the design of a unique flexible display that will be positioned along the entire length of the smartwatch’s bracelet. In this case, the display will be flexible enough to conform to the shape of the user’s hand for ease of use. There will be several layers of interconnects between the display and the back surface, which will house the processor, ambient light sensor, battery, and other critical components.

This design will allow Apple to create smartwatches with a bezel-less OLED display. However, you need to understand that this is only a patent so far, and the final product may look different. The next Watch update will most likely occur at the September presentation of the company, and Apple is unlikely to have time to make such an innovative device in the remaining six months.
