Smartphone performance can be “updated” using Google Play

Although a smartphone user doesn’t need to understand neural networks, it is worth knowing that the so-called efficiency. The Neural Networks API is largely responsible for the performance of the chipsets. Soon, the corresponding software will be updated using Google services.

The Neural Networks API allows developers to delegate some of the extremely complex computations for running neural networks to smartphone chipsets, resulting in increased overall data processing performance. Soon Android smartphones powered by Snapdragon mobile platforms will receive the same regular local neuroprocessing software updates that Qualcomm has long used to improve GPU drivers.

The innovation is important because users do not have to purchase a new smartphone or wait for a complete system update to take advantage of advanced mobile technologies. Qualcomm cites Google Assistant and Google Maps as examples, which should be “better, smarter, more intuitive.”

Moreover, independent developers using the Neural Networks API can be confident that the vast majority of Android smartphones (at least using Snapdragon SoCs) will have the latest version of this API. Qualcomm promised to announce the time of the premiere of the function later, confining itself to the answer “this year.
