Samsung Electronics has officially announced the Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NA) gaming monitor. It is based on a 49-inch curved matrix with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and Quantum Mini LED backlighting, which provides 2048 zones of local dimming.
The advantages of the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 also include a peak brightness of 2000 cd / m², a refresh rate of 240 Hz, a response time of 1 ms, and a static contrast ratio of 1 million to 1. The radius of curvature of the matrix is 1000 mm. Of course, it was not without adaptive synchronization technology: support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible is announced.
To connect to the source of the picture, you can use the DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces and a pair of HDMI 2.1. The equipment of the monitor includes a USB 3.2 Gen1 hub for two ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones. The back of the display has a multi-color backlight with several glow effects.
