Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 may disappoint with a subscreen front camera

Just over two weeks separate us from Samsung’s biggest event of the year – the launch of the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and a host of other devices. As it became known recently, the company will hardly be able to surprise with the main cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and, judging by the words of several sources at once, the same will happen with the sub-screen front camera. Max Weinbach claims that the camera is close in quality to what we saw in last year’s ZTE Axon 20, which took downright bad shots on the front sensor.

@UniverseIce is in solidarity with him, who described the Galaxy Z Fold 3 UPC camera as not bad (due to AI algorithms), but incomparable with conventional front cameras, which is why Samsung will not even dare to install it in the future Galaxy S22. Finally, according to unconfirmed reports, the resolution of its final images will be 4 megapixels, which is easily explained by the binning of the 16-megapixel sensor, which is so necessary for this kind of camera.
