Rumors: Microsoft is preparing to release Windows 11, the next-generation operating system

This week it became known that Microsoft will officially unveil «Windows next generation” on June 24 at a special event. According to rumors, the developers will present an update for Windows 10 and a new operating system called Windows 11. This was announced by the famous insider Evan Blass (Evan Blass). A hint of this can also be seen in Microsoft’s official invitation to the upcoming event, which the media began receiving a few days ago.

Evan Blass wrote on his Twitter page that Microsoft would release Windows 11 and not update Windows 10. It is worth noting that he was the author of a large number of leaks in the past, which in the end turned out to be reliable. However, the emergence of a new version of the software platform is indicated not only by the blogger’s statement.

Microsoft started sending out invitations to a Windows event this week. Along with the text on it, you can see the updated logo of the operating system. If you look closely at it, you can see how the light falling through the window creates the number “11” outline. It is also noteworthy that the shadow from the vertical crossbar of the window is present in the image. In contrast, the horizontal crossbar does not cast shadows, which is probably no coincidence. We can assume that in this way, the developers wanted to hint at the announcement of Windows 11. In addition, Microsoft’s chief product officer Panos Panay (Panos Panay) talked about the upcoming launch of “Windows next-generation” without specifying that we are talking about Windows 10.

All this indicates that on June 24, Microsoft will officially introduce Windows 11. However, do not forget that these information are assumptions that in fact may not coincide with the plans of the software giant.
