Refurbished iPhones May Get Chinese Screens.

The new iPhone 13 will not have Chinese screens.

BOE is working hard to enter Apple’s supply chain and start shipping OLED screens for iPhones, but the Chinese manufacturer has yet to progress in this direction.

According to the latest Chinese media reports, Apple will not allow BOE to supply OLED screens for the next generation iPhone phones, which are supposed to be released under the presumably called iPhone 13 next fall.

Sources say Apple has tested all of the BOE OLED screen samples sent, but they still don’t meet Apple’s specifications. This means Samsung Display and LG Display will remain the only OLED screen providers for iPhone smartphones next year.

It has also been reported that Apple is considering using BOE OLED screens in refurbished iPhones and service centers to replace broken screens.

The iPhone 12 uses screens manufactured by Samsung Display and LG Display, which have shown image problems. However, Apple is planning to release an update to fix the problem.
