One of the Apple suppliers confirms the design of the AirPods 3

One of the suppliers working with Apple has released pictures of the upcoming AirPods 3. This confirmed earlier leaks of the next-generation headphone design.

In the photo, you can see headphones that are very similar to the AirPods Pro. They have a short leg, an elongated shape and a case like the Pro version. The only external difference is the form factor, which does not imply the use of ear pads. There is no information regarding internal characteristics or innovations, but several analysts suggest that AirPods 3 will be equipped with active noise cancellation technology. If this turns out to be true, then there will be practically no differences from the AirPods Pro – which means that either the pricing policy will be revised, or the Pro version will follow the HomePod and go down in history.

However, it’s safe to say that AirPods Pro will not disappear from the shelves yet, as Apple released a new promo video featuring them. The video is posted on Apple’s official YouTube channel and is called “AirPods Pro-Jump“. It creatively demonstrates how the noise cancelling and transparency modes work and how well the headphones fit in the ears, even when they are actively moving and jumping.

The 2nd generation AirPods were unveiled in March 2019 – Apple just added them to its website before the spring presentation. These were the company’s first earbuds with wireless charging capability. Apple gave buyers a choice: buy AirPods 2 with or without wireless charging; besides, it was possible to purchase only a wireless case, which was suitable even for the first generation of headphones.
