The key specifications of the Motorola Edge 20, as well as the images of the smartphone, have been published for a long time, but only now have the press-renders of the Pro version of the device in all projections have been posted on the Web, allowing you to see even small structural elements.
On Monday, Motorola confirmed that the device will premiere on August 5 – the event will be held in China. The manufacturer will showcase both the regular Edge 20 and the Pro version of the model.
The renders of Edge 20 Pro have been posted on the Internet by verified network informant Evan Blass, responsible for the repeated leaks. Judging from the images, the Edge 20 Pro won’t have a curved display like its predecessors, Edge and Edge + from last year. Instead, it will use a flat OLED panel with a selfie camera hole in the middle of the top. The fingerprint scanner is integrated under the display.
On the left side there is a key, presumably the button for calling Google Assistant. The camera on the rear panel is a rectangular module with one “square” lens and an LED flash. The text on the back panel indicates that the novelty has received a 108-megapixel module. Additionally, there is a 16-megapixel wide-angle version, also capable of working as a macro module, and an 8-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Notable features include a mono speaker and display output.
Edge 20 Pro features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. The device is built on the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform and is equipped with 6, 8, or 12 GB of RAM. The volume of ROM is 128 or 256 GB. On the front panel, there is a 32-megapixel camera, and the battery capacity is 4500 mAh. The device is expected to be sold in white, black, and blue.
