Microsoft hints at adding Judgment detective action to Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft Corporation in the official microblog Xbox Game Pass has unequivocally hinted at the addition of a detective action game Judgment from Sega publishing and development studio Ryu Ga Gotoku to the service.

Microsoft has posted an image with a list of 280 game characters available on an Xbox Game Pass subscription as part of the teaser. After a couple of hours, it turned out that a “mistake” had crept into the publication.

Following the heroes of the main Yakuza games, which have recently been available in the Xbox Game Pass, Takayuki Yagami, a private detective and part-time protagonist of Judgment, is on the list.

Shortly after the discovery, the “mistake” was corrected – Takayuki Yagami’s name was crossed out, which now draws even more attention to him on the list. The second edition of the list is given below.

Recall that the events of Judgment unfold in the same world with Yakuza – Tokyo’s Kamuro-cho district and not only. Despite the general surroundings, the two episodes live separately from each other and do not exchange characters.

The original Judgment for PS4 debuted in December 2018 in Japan, reached Western audiences in June 2019, and was remastered in April 2021 on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia.

Currently, a sequel is being prepared for release – Lost Judgment. The release is expected on September 24 this year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Whether this game will appear in Xbox Game Pass is not specified.
