iPhone 13 will receive support for the new networking standard

Owners of devices will have access to higher data transfer rates and other capabilities of the new technology.

Apple recently released the iPhone 12 series smartphones, the company’s first devices to support 5G connectivity. But already now there is new information about their successor. According to the latest report from MacRumors, upcoming Apple models are expected to support WiFi 6E technology.

To implement WiFi 6E, the 6 GHz frequency range is used. The technology is significantly faster and more reliable than its predecessors, and latency and interference from neighbouring devices are felt much less frequently.

The source says that modules for implementing Wi-Fi 6E in the iPhone 13  can be supplied by the semiconductor manufacturer Skyworks.

As for the new Apple smartphones, they are expected to be released this September. More information about them should appear in the coming months.
