iPhone 13 will receive 1 TB of storage

Lots of memory- for recording higher definition video

Well-known insider Jon Prosser, who revealed a lot of details about the iPhone 12 and other Apple innovations even before their premiere, hinted on his Twitter page about a significant increase in memory in the next generation of Apple smartphones.

This means flash memory, and it will be 1 TB – twice the current maximum. There is speculation that this is due to the ability to record 8K video – also a first for the iPhone. These videos need a lot of space (a 5-minute 8K 30fps video shot with the Galaxy S20 is about 3GB), and the top iPhone 13 will have plenty of it. The hardware capability of recording such clips will be provided by the Apple A15 single-chip platform, which will be produced by TSMC using an improved 5-nanometer process technology.
