The cost of a single-chip Apple A14 Bionic platform is $40, SK Hynix RAM – $12.8, Samsung flash memory – $19.2, CMOS sensors manufactured by Sony – $8. In general, most of the components are purchased from South Korean companies.
It should be noted that barely half of the device’s retail price accounts for the cost of components development, advertising, marketing, logistics, and many other aspects.
