iPad Pro on Apple M1 smashes Android flagships on Snapdragon 888 and Kirin 9000

The new iPad Pro tablet was twice as fast as modern flagships from the Android world.

Chinese sources have published the results of testing the new iPad Pro tablet, built based on the single-crystal system Apple M1, in the popular benchmark Geekbench.

Apple-based iPad Pro M1 showed 1,727 points in single-core mode and 7,270 points when using all cores. For comparison, the results of testing the OnePlus 9 Pro based on the single-crystal system Snapdragon 888, which scored 1106 and 3534 points, respectively. Based on the Kirin 9000, Huawei’s flagship smartphone showed results of 1009 and 3,614 points, respectively.

Thanks to the presence of a potent single-crystal system Apple M1 and 16GB of RAM, the new iPad Pro tablet was twice as fast as today’s flagships from the Android world.

According to the official Apple website, some new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will not be sent to customers until July. Analysts predict that the older version of the iPad Pro could reach 5 million units within a year.
