iPad mini 6 will get Touch ID under the power button, if ever

iPad mini 6 may never see the light of day if Apple makes quick progress on the first foldable-screen iPhone!

New rumors have surfaced on the web about Apple’s next small tablet, tentatively named iPad mini 6.

Sources confirm that the iPad mini 6 will be a smaller version of the iPad Air 4. Simultaneously, Apple is already releasing prototypes and testing several versions of the device at once.

iPad mini 6 is supposed to be a fragile and light tablet. The front-facing Touch ID fingerprint sensor is relocating under the tablet’s power button and using the USB-C connector for charging.

A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Apple plans to equip the tablet with an 8.5-inch Liquid Retina display, the latest Apple A14 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and support for the second-generation Apple Pencil.

It has been speculated that the iPad mini 6 may never see the light of day if Apple is quick to make progress with the first foldable iPhone. Previously, sources said that the iPad mini 6 could be the latest in the popular line.
