HP has announced the Pro C640 G2 laptop running on the Chrome OS software platform. The laptop’s heart is an Intel Tiger Lake generation processor with Intel X e integrated graphics. Chip models have not yet been specified.

The device is equipped with a display measuring 14 inches diagonally: a Full HD panel with a 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution is used. It is possible to use a panel that supports touch control.

The volume of LPDDR4-2666 RAM can be up to 16 GB. The equipment includes a flash module eMMC 5.0 with a capacity of up to 128 GB. Wi-Fi 6 (2×2) and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a 720p webcam, and a fingerprint scanner.

The claimed battery life on one recharge of the battery reaches 12 hours. The laptop starts at $419.
