Google Play has a new section for comparison!
Google has begun testing a new feature of the Google Play online app store, which will undoubtedly be in demand among users of Android devices. It’s about the ability to easily compare similar apps.
Now there are almost 3 million applications on Google Play, which makes the choice problem very urgent. As the topic resource AndroidPolice drew attention to, some Google Play users began to have a new section, Compare apps, display similar applications, and compare several parameters. The section becomes visible if you scroll the screen with the application description to the very bottom.
The comparison is based on such parameters as rating, number of downloads, ease of use, and support for some features. For example, when you search for a video player that supports streaming, you can quickly see which of the players supports this feature.
At the moment, Google is testing the feature on video players, but we can expect an expansion of the “range” and an increase in coverage among users.
