Here’s a twist, Apple. 2021 will be the year of iPad experimentation

IPad Pro coming with OLED and mini-LED screens

Apple may release iPad Pro models with two different screen technologies in 2021. This was reported by the Korean resource The Elec.

According to the source, Apple plans to release at least one iPad Pro model with a mini-LED screen in the first half of 2021. This is a long-awaited step. Rumors of a mini-LED switch have been around for months, but the new message adds an exciting twist to the story.

Following the launch of the iPad Pro mini-LED, OLED tablets may be launched. The source claims that Apple plans to release new iPad Pro models using OLED technology in the second half of the year. It is noted that Korean manufacturers Samsung and LG are already developing OLED displays for the iPad Pro.

Earlier it was reported that the mini-LED screen would be able to boast only the most extensive and most expensive version – the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which may debut in March. And the rest of the iPad Pro models will continue to use LCD until they upgrade to OLED near the end of the year.
