Bloomberg: the new iPhone 13 will have an always-on screen

Apple implements the always-on display mode in the new generation of the iPhone smartphone, Bloomberg reports in its Power On newsletter.

According to the editor of the publication Mark Gurman, the iPhone 13, following the Apple Watch Series 5 smartwatch, shown in 2019, will receive an always-on screen mode (always on display), which will allow users to know the time, weather and receive a series of notifications from applications without the need to unlock your smartphone.

The insider notes that the new iPhone will receive a more powerful A15 processor and a redesigned display. In addition to the always-on mode, the screen will feature an increased refresh rate of 120 Hz due to ProMotion technology and a reduced “bangs” due to a more compact design of the front camera. The larger battery than the iPhone 12 and optimized power consumption are expected to extend the battery life of the smartphone.

The premiere of the new iPhone 13 should take place in the fall. The exact date of the smartphone’s debut has not yet been announced.
