Apple is developing a HomePod with screens and cameras. Insider Mark Gurman announced this in an article on Bloomberg.
Cupertino plans to release this smart speaker model in 2022. It will be a direct replacement for the HomePod released in 2017. In March of this year, it was officially discontinued.
So far, the only smart speaker from Apple is HomePod mini. According to the company, it sells well against the background of the first model.
In the same article, Gourmet reported that a sensor was found on the HomePod mini, which is not involved in any way. It is a temperature and humidity sensor. It may be activated after a firmware update.
