Apple to add Face ID to virtually all of its devices within “a couple of years”

According to the Bloomberg journalist, face recognition will become the basis of authorization for all the company’s equipment.

Apple plans to add support for features unlock the device using Face ID in its Mac computers in the next “couple of years”, said the journalist Bloomberg and insider Mark Gurman.

According to him, Apple wants to install facial recognition in almost all of its products, including cheaper versions of smartphones and tablets iPhone SE and iPad Air.

The devices are now equipped with the Touch ID fingerprint to unlock feature. Apple is in no hurry to replace it because it is a “cheaper alternative” to Face ID while providing a high level of security.

Gourmet also believes that Pro-models of devices will differ from cheaper ones by the presence of a camera under the screen.
