Apple showed a new wearable device

It has been known for quite some time that  Apple is developing a virtual reality headset. Now there is information about how the control device of this headset might look like.

A new Apple patent shows two paired ring-shaped controllers. As can be seen from the image, the person wears rings on the index and thumb. With their help, the user’s gestures will be read – they will be perceived as commands to control the VR device.

As for the headset itself, there is no exact information on the release date yet. According to Bloomberg, the new product may appear as early as next year.

A powerful processor is being prepared for the headset, and it may work based on the M1. The display will receive a higher resolution than the options found in existing VR products. This will also affect the price: the device will cost more than its counterparts, be it Oculus from Facebook, PlayStation VR from  Sony,  or a headset from  HTC  (their price ranges from $ 300 to $ 900).
