Apple Replaces Multiple Function Keys In New MacBook Air

If you look closely at the new MacBook Air’s keyboard image, you can see that several function keys have undergone some changes. In particular, there are separate buttons for activating the Do Not Disturb mode, launching Dictation and Spotlight.

Three new keys replace the Launchpad launch and keyboard brightness buttons. And if the absence of the first is unlikely to be noticed, then to change the keyboard backlight level, you will now have to use the Control Center’s widget. Also, the Globe emoji has appeared on the Fn button in the lower-left corner.

The keyboard in the new MacBook Pro, of course, has not changed because there is a Touch Bar instead of a row of function keys. However, the Globe emoji also appeared on the Fn key.
