Affected devices were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020!
As it became known, some smartphones’ touch screens are malfunctioning, in connection with which Apple announced that this problem could be fixed for free.
At the end of this week, Apple launched a display replacement program for iPhone 11 devices to address an issue experienced by “a small number of iPhone 11 users.” It is reported that in some cases, the screen stops responding to touch operations. Apple said the affected devices were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020.
iPhone 11 users with this problem can get their device repaired for free. To do this, you can use the serial number check on the Apple Support page to make sure your device is eligible for a replacement program.
Once confirmed, the smartphone can be repaired in three ways:
- Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider
- Make an appointment at the Apple Retail Store
- Contact Apple Support and send your smartphone
The program covers the iPhone 11 smartphones for two years after the sale.
