Apple Launches Affiliate Program In Its Podcast App

Apple launched a paid subscription service in its podcast app last month. The company has unveiled a new program that will help paid podcast creators on Apple Podcasts expand their user base and increase their income.

This is the Apple Services Performance Partner Program, which will be available to all authors. However, the developers say it will be most useful for publishers and authors who already have a user audience. Members of this program will be able to create special links to subscribe to their content. When users follow these links and subscribe, the author will be credited 50% of the subscription price in a one-time payment. For example, if the cost of a monthly subscription to a channel is $ 5, then each new subscriber within the framework of the affiliate program will bring the author $ 2.5.

Although any podcast author can apply to participate in the program, Apple will moderate such requests. This is done to screen candidates for links to their podcasts. In the registration form, there are corresponding sections where the author is asked to indicate where and how he plans to promote links to his channel.

According to reports, the new affiliate program will be available in all 170 countries where the paid podcast service is supported. Applications for registration in the program are being accepted now, but they will begin to operate closer to the end of the month.
