Apple is closing stores again in different regions of the world – Operating stores have strict rules now

The company began opening stores in June, but said they could close again in accordance with local conditions and regulations.

Apple has decided to close all of its stores in California this weekend, including in the San Francisco Bay Area. This comes after the company began closing stores in Los Angeles last week, resulting in close to 100 stores.

Apple has released a statement that stores are temporarily closed. Some of the unfinished orders can be picked up until December 22, 2020. Unfortunately, it is currently unknown when these stores will reopen; however, Apple has confirmed that they will be closed during the holidays.

Also, Apple has closed stores in Tennessee and the UK. The company also closed 18 stores in Germany and the Netherlands last week, while stores in Mexico and Brazil will be closed this week.

Since the beginning of this year, Apple has started closing stores due to the pandemic, with many having been closed for months. The company began opening stores in June but said they could close again following local conditions and regulations. There are currently 400 Apple stores operating with strict rules: masks, temperature control, social distancing, and regular cleaning.
