Even though DisplayMate experts called the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s screen “the best tested,” some users complain about the panels’ poor quality: pictures of displays with green spots and ghosting that do not disappear appear in various forums.
At first, Apple did not comment on the situation in any way, but there were many calls. Green or gray spots appeared below 90% brightness.
According to MacRumors, Apple has recommended the services that users will contact to inform them about the need to update their smartphone to the most current version of iOS, but this does not help many, even if they install the iOS 14.3 beta.
In any case, the company has recognized the problem and will research what is causing the green screens. I am almost 100% sure that all dissatisfied customers will be replaced with new devices, unless you have to wait – there is a shortage.
