A new way to jailbreak iPhone revealed

Connecting an iPhone to a wireless network that has percent symbols in its name exposes a vulnerability. With its help, attackers can remotely execute malicious code on a device.

According to Bleeping Computer, experts from ZecOps created such a network and connected the iPhone to it. According to them, there is no evidence that the vulnerability was used by hackers, but Apple has already released an update that fixes it. Users were told how not to clean a smartphone

To close the security hole, users are advised to download the iOS 14.7 update, and also disable the connection to unknown open networks in the settings.
