3.8 billion phone numbers of Clubhouse users and their contacts were leaked to the network

According to cybersecurity specialist Marc Ruef, hackers are now selling a database of phone numbers of users of the popular social network Clubhouse on the darknet.

Such a large number is due to the leakage of not only the numbers of registered participants but also their contacts, access to which the social network requires at its launch, and the first authorization.

Now the hackers are looking for a large buyer and announced an auction that ends on September 4, 2021. As proof of the reality of the database, they give access to 83.5 million Japanese phone numbers.

Representatives of Clubhouse have not yet made official statements on this matter, and experts on the network are talking about possible hacker attacks on users from the leaked database.
