File Explorer in Windows 10X looks a lot like Finder!

We’ve written about Windows 10X several times already – this is a special version of regular Windows 10, adapted for low-power laptops. Windows 10X is now RTM ready and will be available for commercial devices in spring 2021. Then all the differences between Windows 10X and regular Windows 10 will be clear, but at least one thing can be appreciated now. The pictures below show the Explorer of the new OS.

The most important thing is striking – the absence of the canonical menu item, “My Computer.” How can those who have long been accustomed to Windows 10 Explorer to live without it? In general, the interface of the new Explorer has been greatly simplified. With its design and section logic, it now looks more like a similar MacOS application – Finder.
